Wispr AI Eyes $260M Series B at $2 Billion Valuation
Wispr AI is negotiating a $260 million Series B that would value the San Francisco startup at about $2 billion, with Menlo Ventures expected to lead; terms are not final.
Wispr AI is in talks to raise $260 million in a Series B round that would value the San Francisco startup at roughly $2 billion. Menlo Ventures is expected to lead the round, and company and investor representatives have not finalized terms or announced a closing timeline.
The startup is best known for Wispr Flow, a voice-dictation app that converts speech into edited text across email, documents and other applications. Before the reported Series B, Wispr AI had raised about $81 million in total funding. If the $260 million round closes as reported, it would more than quadruple the company’s historical fundraising in a single transaction.
Wispr AI’s reported target valuation represents a jump from about $700 million in November 2025 to roughly $2 billion now. The company has not released public revenue figures, and no financial statements tied to the reported raise have been disclosed.
The company is privately held and the financing would be a private equity round. There is no token or blockchain component associated with the reported fundraise. Wispr AI has not stated how it would allocate proceeds from the round and has not provided a public plan linked to the talks.
The funding talks come amid heightened investor activity in AI-powered productivity and voice technologies. Menlo Ventures and Wispr AI have not issued formal announcements about the round. Wispr AI did not respond to requests for comment on the status of negotiations or the company’s financials.
