Versana launches digital loan-voting platform

Versana has launched a digital loan voting platform that is live and available to its clients. The system allows lenders and other loan participants to register, cast and track votes on loan decisions through a web interface.
The platform is available to loan agents, administrative boards and creditor groups for consents, waivers, amendments and other borrower-related approvals. The system supports role-based access so participants see the items and voting options relevant to their role.
Features include an auditable record of ballots, time-stamped submissions and reporting tools that summarize voting outcomes. The platform offers configurable workflows to accommodate different loan structures and documentation requirements and integrates with participant contact lists to support quorum and eligibility checks.
The service centralizes vote collection and tracking that have traditionally relied on paper ballots, email exchanges and manual spreadsheets. Agents historically compiled responses manually and issued certificates when voting thresholds were met; electronic platforms have been introduced in recent years to streamline that process.
Voting on syndicated loans and similar credit facilities is used to approve changes to loan terms, grant waivers for covenant breaches and authorize actions such as refinancings and transfers. Versana’s platform provides another option for agents and creditor groups to collect and certify votes.
