US ETFs: 40 new listings push AUM to $15.7T
Forty new ETFs were listed in a shortened trading week, lifting the U.S. ETF count to 5,475 and AUM to $15.7 trillion. Estimated annual fee revenue stayed at $26.8 billion and Open:Close Ratio hit 4.89.
Last week, during a shortened trading week, 40 new exchange-traded funds were listed in the U.S. and no funds were delisted. The total U.S. ETF count reached 5,475 and assets under management rose to $15.7 trillion.
The number of funds is 26.4% higher than a year earlier. Total AUM increased 34.7% over the past 12 months. Industry estimated annual fee revenue, calculated from current AUM and funds’ reported expense ratios, remained at $26.8 billion.
The Open:Close Ratio, an intraday measure of ETF trading behavior, was 4.89 last week, its highest reading since Jan. 25. Market participants monitor that ratio alongside other trading indicators to track intraday activity and liquidity.
