Trading Technologies broadens crypto derivatives access
Trading Technologies updated its platform to connect institutional clients to more crypto derivatives venues and selected prediction markets with consolidated data, advanced order types and risk controls.
Trading Technologies recently updated its trading platform to add connectivity to additional crypto derivatives venues and selected prediction market platforms for professional traders and institutions.
The update delivers consolidated market data, advanced order types and risk controls through the firm’s desktop application and its APIs. It provides direct market access, multi-venue order routing and unified execution tools for exchange-traded derivatives and crypto-native products.
Access is provided through native integrations and standard connectivity protocols, enabling clients to route orders and receive real-time market data from multiple counterparties within the same execution environment. The platform applies features common in futures and options trading – complex order types, pre-trade risk checks and centralized session management – to bitcoin and ether derivatives and to prediction-market instruments.
The platform supports manual and algorithmic trading workflows via its API set. The change affects institutional clients, proprietary trading firms and brokers that use the firm for professional execution and order management.
The upgrade connects regulated derivatives venues and certain blockchain-based prediction markets while keeping execution, analytics and risk monitoring in a single system. The company highlighted interoperability with existing clearing and back-office processes for cleared products. Non-custodial on-chain market access is provided through partner connectivity.
Additional details note expanded market-data feeds, consolidated order books for connected venues and improved parity between traditional derivative order handling and crypto-native instrument mechanics. The platform continues to offer FIX connectivity and a proprietary API for automated strategies. Monitoring around market-data integrity and session resiliency has been increased for the newly supported venues.
Trading Technologies, founded in Chicago, provides electronic trading software to futures, options and derivatives market participants. The firm stated it will maintain the same controls used for exchange-traded futures and options – margin checks, session limits and audit logging – when routing crypto derivatives and prediction-market transactions through its systems.
