Tower Research hires ex-Citadel ETF researcher Yacin Dolivet
Tower Research Capital hired Yacin Dolivet, formerly head of ETF quantitative research at Citadel Securities, as a quantitative researcher focused on ETF trading and index arbitrage.
Tower Research Capital has appointed Yacin Dolivet as a quantitative researcher to support its ETF trading and index-arbitrage work. Dolivet spent more than eight years at Citadel Securities, most recently leading ETF quantitative research and developing strategies that target pricing differences between ETFs and their underlying baskets.
At Citadel Securities, Dolivet worked on index arbitrage techniques that identify short-lived gaps between an ETF’s market price and the value of its underlying securities. His responsibilities combined statistical model development, data analysis and execution planning to capture small spreads before prices realigned.
Before joining Citadel Securities, Dolivet held senior quantitative roles at KCG Holdings, where he led research for options market-making, and at Barclays, where he spent more than six years developing equity derivatives and Asian index options trading strategies. His experience covers derivatives and market-making across equities and options markets.
Tower Research is known for high-frequency equities trading and has been expanding into fixed-income and ETF trading. The firm has been adding personnel with specialist experience in those areas. Tower did not disclose Dolivet’s start date or specific assignments.
