Super Micro Forecasts $38.9-40.4B in FY26, Names CBO
Super Micro forecasts FY26 net sales of $38.9 billion to $40.4 billion and named Vik Malyala chief business officer on May 5, 2026.
Super Micro Computer projected fiscal 2026 net sales of $38.9 billion to $40.4 billion and announced the appointment of Vik Malyala as chief business officer in a company release dated May 5, 2026.
The company reported third-quarter fiscal 2026 net sales of $10.2 billion, roughly double the revenue from the same quarter a year earlier, and net income of $483 million, an increase of more than 200% year-over-year.
Second-quarter fiscal 2026 sales were $12.68 billion, making the Q3 figure a sequential decline. For calendar Q1 2026, Super Micro reported $10.24 billion in revenue, up 123% from the prior year but below analysts’ expectations of $12.38 billion. The company had guided calendar Q2 at $11.75 billion.
The FY26 guidance covers the full fiscal year. Using the midpoint of the guidance, about $39.7 billion, and subtracting roughly $33.1 billion in sales already reported or guided for Q1 through Q3 implies Q4 revenue near $6 billion to $7 billion, lower than Q3’s $10.2 billion.
Shares were trading around $35.37 at the time of the announcement, with a target price estimated at $36.75. Competitors Dell Technologies and Hewlett Packard Enterprise are expanding their activity in AI server hardware.
Malyala’s appointment was announced alongside the revenue outlook on May 5. The company did not provide additional details about his responsibilities in the release.
Super Micro’s filings and public statements show large year-over-year revenue gains over the past year while sequential quarterly results have varied.
