Sterling Trading Tech has launched STRIDER, an AI-driven web and mobile trading platform that enables 24×7 trading in US equities and options. The platform integrates with Sterling’s OMS360 to provide real-time P&L, buying power, portfolio margin and risk visibility.
STRIDER uses artificial intelligence within Sterling’s backend to support round-the-clock trading across time zones and to scale capacity while aiming to improve execution speed and reliability. The platform is device-agnostic, accessible from any browser or mobile device, and interoperates with Sterling’s desktop software.
The platform supports simple equity orders and complex options strategies. It offers configurable workflows, enhanced charting and analytics, and a graphical interface that displays real-time market data and execution tools.
Sterling described STRIDER as an institutional-grade system designed to maintain performance under higher loads and extended trading hours. Integrated portfolio margin, profit-and-loss figures and buying power are available at the account level to give traders real-time risk and capital information.
STRIDER is fully integrated with OMS360 to enable straight-through order routing, risk controls and account-level metrics. The company said the platform can be configured for different trading styles and adds analytics and execution features intended to reduce friction around order placement and position monitoring.
David Weiss, chief technology officer at Sterling Trading Tech, commented that STRIDER combines AI-driven capabilities with speed, reliability and scalability to translate technology performance into trading performance.
Jen Nayar, Sterling’s president and chief executive officer, stated the firm aims to provide tools that help traders make informed decisions and execute with confidence.
The launch comes amid industry interest in extending trading hours and in using automation and AI to manage liquidity and risk across markets. Sterling highlighted STRIDER’s interoperability with existing desktop workflows and its goal of continuous market connectivity and real-time risk information for active traders.
