SpaceX to join WisdomTree Space Economy ETF after IPO
SpaceX will join the WisdomTree Space Economy UCITS ETF on June 29, 2026, with a 5.5% initial weight; WisdomTree expects the weighting to rise as liquidity develops.
SpaceX will be added to the WisdomTree Space Economy UCITS ETF (WSPC) on June 29, 2026, following its initial public offering. The company will enter the fund with an initial weight of 5.5%.
WisdomTree expects the stake to rise above 10% over the coming months as trading volumes and market liquidity build after the IPO.
The ETF seeks to track the WisdomTree Space Economy UCITS Index and carries a total expense ratio of 0.50%. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange, Börse Xetra, Borsa Italiana, Euronext Paris and the SIX Swiss Exchange.
Under the index methodology, selection and weightings combine thematic scoring and company-level analysis to prioritise firms and verticals most connected to space development and commercial activity.
WSPC provides exposure across four verticals: launches and infrastructure, commercial space, defence space and emerging technologies.
WisdomTree noted that including SpaceX reflects the company’s role in lowering launch costs, expanding access to orbit and accelerating the development of space-based services and infrastructure.
Pierre Debru, Head of Research, Europe at WisdomTree, commented: “SpaceX has helped lower barriers to space, increase launch frequency and expand commercial participation across the sector. Its inclusion shortly after its market debut reflects the flexibility of our proprietary indexing approach and allows investors to gain exposure through a transparent, rules-based strategy.”
With SpaceX listed publicly and the ETF inclusion scheduled, investors can access the company via WSPC once the addition takes effect on June 29, 2026.
