Sigma Capital Picks TRAFiX for Institutional Trading OMS

Sigma Capital Partners MENA has selected TRAFiX to supply a multi-asset order management system to support expansion of its institutional brokerage across the MENA region and international markets.

Sigma Capital Partners MENA Limited has chosen TRAFiX to provide a multi-asset order management system (OMS) to support the growth of its institutional brokerage business across the Middle East and into international markets.

Operating from the Dubai International Financial Centre and regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority, Sigma Capital Partners provides agency execution services to institutional clients, family offices and wealth managers. The firm said the TRAFiX OMS will allow clients to access global equities through a single platform while aiming to preserve execution quality and limit information leakage.

TRAFiX will supply its OMS together with a broker-neutral connectivity network to link Sigma to execution venues, clearing firms and third-party providers. The vendor’s platform is designed to offer scalability and flexibility as Sigma expands its market reach and asset coverage.

TRAFiX’s systems and connectivity currently support more than 400 clients worldwide, connecting firms to venues, clearing partners and data providers.

Michael Ottrando, managing director and global head of sales at TRAFiX, commented that clients require more than standalone technology and need partners that respond quickly and adapt as businesses grow. Howard Spooner, senior executive officer at Sigma Capital Partners MENA Limited, added that TRAFiX provides global market access, multi-asset execution capabilities and a responsive approach to support both immediate and longer-term client requirements.
