Safello, Deutsche Digital Assets list STAO ETP on Euronext Paris
Deutsche Digital Assets and Safello listed the Safello Bittensor Staked TAO ETP (STAO) on Euronext Paris. The euro-traded ETP is physically backed by TAO and accumulates staking rewards in its NAV.
Deutsche Digital Assets, in partnership with Safello, has listed the Safello Bittensor Staked TAO ETP (ISIN: DE000A4APQY4; WKN: A4APQY; ticker: STAO) on Euronext Paris. The ETP will trade in euros and is 100% physically backed by Bittensor’s TAO token.
The Paris listing expands STAO’s availability to French and continental European institutional investors and distributors that require Euronext-listed products for access through standard infrastructure. STAO was already listed on SIX Swiss Exchange and Nasdaq Stockholm.
STAO is structured as a total return exchange-traded product that tracks the Kaiko Safello Staked Bittensor Index (KSSTAO Index). The ETP carries a total expense ratio and maximum management fee of 1.49% per year. TAO staking rewards, after fees charged by service providers, are accumulated daily in the product’s net asset value (NAV) and reinvested on behalf of holders.
The underlying TAO tokens are held in cold storage by a regulated, institutional-grade crypto custodian. The issuers say the product can be bought and sold during regular exchange hours like other listed securities.
Romain Bensoussan, Head of Sales at Deutsche Digital Assets, said the Euronext Paris listing will make STAO accessible to European institutional investors and distributors. Frank Schuil, founder and CEO of Safello, added that the listing extends the product’s reach in France.
Bittensor is a decentralized artificial intelligence network that uses the TAO token to reward participants and model contributions; staking TAO generates rewards distributed to stakers. By packaging physical TAO holdings and the staking yield into a regulated ETP, Deutsche Digital Assets and Safello provide a way for investors to gain exposure to TAO and its staking rewards without managing custody or staking operations directly.
