Pershing Square appoints Ranjani Kearsley as independent director

Ranjani Kearsley, head of asset management at B-FLEXION and a Twelve Securis board member, joined Pershing Square Holdings as an independent non-executive director on July 20, 2026.

Ranjani Kearsley joined Pershing Square Holdings’ board on July 20, 2026 as an independent non-executive director. She is head of asset management at B-FLEXION and serves on the board of Twelve Securis.

Kearsley joined B-FLEXION in 2021 and leads the Group Investments Office’s asset management team. She has more than 25 years of experience in asset management, private equity and principal investing, with roles covering portfolio oversight, strategy, human capital and sustainability.

Twelve Securis was formed after Twelve Capital acquired Securis Investment Partners in 2024. B-FLEXION had invested in and partnered with Securis and maintained that relationship after the transaction; Kearsley serves on Twelve Securis’s board.

Pershing Square has increased its activity in the insurance and reinsurance sector through transactions involving Howard Hughes Holdings and Vantage Group Holdings. Howard Hughes acquired Vantage, which operates a collateralised underwriting business through its AdVantage strategy.

Pershing Square Holdings subscribed for $1 billion of non-voting exchangeable perpetual preferred stock issued by Howard Hughes to help finance the acquisition. Pershing Square Capital Management is expected to manage Vantage’s investment assets.

The AdVantage platform provides access to third-party capital for collateralised reinsurance. Howard Hughes executives have described the business as capital-light and high-margin.

Pershing Square Holdings described Kearsley as bringing ‘experience spanning investments, partnerships, human capital and sustainability, as well as board experience at regulated asset managers across the US, Europe and Asia.’
