PancakeSwap adds Hypernative AI for real-time exploit detection

PancakeSwap integrated Hypernative Labs’ AI to monitor smart contracts, bridges, multisig wallets and treasuries across its multi-chain operations in real time.

PancakeSwap has integrated Hypernative Labs’ real-time AI threat detection across its multi-chain operations to scan transactions and on-chain activity and flag suspicious behavior before finalization. The system will monitor smart contracts, cross-chain bridges, multisig wallets and protocol treasuries used by the exchange.

Hypernative’s platform applies machine learning models to detect anomalies in contract calls, bridge transfers, multisig approvals and treasury movements. The company reported its platform monitors more than $100 billion in digital assets across over 50 blockchain networks and is used by more than 200 Web3 projects.

Hypernative provided performance metrics for the past year, reporting a 99.5% detection rate for hacks and a false positive rate below 0.001%. The company has flagged more than 270 exploits and estimated prevented losses at roughly $14 billion. It cited specific incidents in which alerts reduced damage, including an event that saved Kinetic Market about $5 million and an alert delivered to Olympus DAO within three minutes of an attack.

PancakeSwap operates primarily on BNB Chain and has expanded deployments to multiple other networks. Each additional deployment adds smart contracts, bridge interactions and treasury arrangements that require monitoring across chains.

Hypernative has established integrations and partnerships across the industry, including work with Injective and Flare and a collaboration with TRM Labs on automated transaction filtering. PancakeSwap joins other protocols that have adopted near-real-time monitoring tools for multi-chain risk management.

For users, the integration introduces an automated surveillance layer for liquidity positions and swap transactions across connected networks. Hypernative noted a 99.5% detection rate still leaves a residual risk of attacks that can evade AI-based detection, particularly novel exploit methods.

PancakeSwap and Hypernative did not provide additional deployment timelines or technical implementation details beyond the integration announcement.
