OpenPayd Secures Money Transmitter Licenses in 43 U.S. States

OpenPayd has integrated MSB USA and, after regulatory approval, now holds money transmitter licenses in 43 U.S. states.

OpenPayd has completed the integration of MSB USA, a U.S.-based state-licensed money services business, and now holds money transmitter licenses in 43 U.S. states following regulatory approval. The licenses extend the company’s regulated payments presence across a large portion of the country.

MSB USA will continue to operate under its current leadership while preparing for technical and operational integration onto OpenPayd’s platform. The licenses allow OpenPayd to support clients operating in or entering the U.S. market with onshore payment rails.

The U.S. expansion follows authorization under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets framework by the Malta Financial Services Authority, providing regulatory coverage for fiat and digital assets in the U.S., U.K. and Europe.

OpenPayd reported annual recurring revenue above $96 million and annualized transaction volume exceeding $300 billion as of July 31, 2026. The company said it is profitable, has not taken external capital and serves more than 1,200 clients worldwide, including Kraken, eToro, OKX and B2C2.

In June 2026 OpenPayd and Titan Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: TACH) signed a definitive business combination agreement. The deal would list OpenPayd on Nasdaq under the ticker OP and values the company at an equity value of up to $1.145 billion on a pro forma basis. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary conditions including approval by Titan’s shareholders.

Dr. Ozan Ozerk, founder of OpenPayd and of MSB USA, remarked: “Every era of finance has been defined by its infrastructure: correspondent banking wired together the twentieth-century economy; programmable money will power the twenty-first. The U.S. is at the forefront of this evolution, and with regulated foundations now spanning the U.S., U.K. and Europe – across both fiat and digital assets – OpenPayd has something few providers can claim: regulated infrastructure spanning both fiat and digital assets, on both sides of the Atlantic.”

Iana Dimitrova, chief executive officer at OpenPayd, stated that the U.S. licenses respond to client demand for compliant payment infrastructure in key markets and enable a deeper operational presence in the United States. “By building out our regulatory presence in the U.S., we’re not just expanding geographically but deepening our commitment to providing secure, reliable and compliant infrastructure that powers the growth of the digital economy for businesses worldwide.”
