Nayax completes acquisition of IPS Group
Nayax has completed the acquisition of IPS Group, adding the parking company’s hardware and software to its cashless payments and telemetry services.
Nayax has completed the acquisition of IPS Group, a provider of smart parking hardware and software, to expand its parking and mobility payments offerings. The deal brings IPS Group’s parking management technology into Nayax’s cashless payment and telemetry portfolio.
Tel Aviv-based Nayax supplies cashless payments, telemetry and value-added services for unattended retail and parking operators. The acquisition combines IPS Group’s parking hardware, sensors and back-end management software with Nayax’s payment terminals and cloud platform, enabling operators to deploy end-to-end parking solutions that handle payments, enforcement data and remote monitoring.
Nayax finalized terms with IPS Group’s shareholders and completed customary closing steps to complete the takeover. The companies plan to integrate IPS Group’s product and engineering teams into Nayax’s mobility unit to accelerate rollouts to municipal parking operators, private parking owners and mobility-as-a-service providers.
The deal will allow Nayax to offer unified billing, telemetry-driven maintenance alerts and consolidated reporting to parking customers. IPS Group customers will gain additional payment options and access to Nayax’s loyalty and analytics tools. Nayax expects cross-selling opportunities across markets where it already serves vending, EV charging and retail automation clients.
Integration work will focus on bringing IPS Group’s hardware drivers and telemetry feeds into Nayax’s cloud architecture, standardizing APIs and aligning customer support and commercial channels. Both firms have committed to continue supporting existing IPS deployments while preparing a roadmap for new products that combine parking enforcement data, sensor inputs and contactless payments.
No financial terms were disclosed. The transaction follows Nayax’s strategy of expanding its mobility and unattended retail lines through acquisitions and product extensions and builds on recent additions to its payment and telemetry stack.
IPS Group supplies parking meters, in-ground and surface sensors and back-office software used by operators to manage occupancy, enforcement and payments. The company’s systems operate in on-street and off-street environments and are designed to integrate with municipal systems and third-party mobility platforms.
Analysts say combining a payments-focused platform with parking hardware can reduce the number of vendors parking operators must manage and link payments to real-time occupancy data and enforcement workflows.
Both firms have committed to maintain service for existing customers during the integration and plan to publish product roadmaps and go-to-market details in the coming months.
