Mitrade taps Volt for SEPA Instant deposits and payouts

Mitrade has integrated Volt to enable SEPA Instant deposits and closed-loop payouts for clients across the EU via its CySEC-regulated Mitrade EU Ltd.

Mitrade has partnered with Volt to offer instant SEPA deposits and real-time closed-loop payouts to clients across the European Union. The integration is being prepared for launch through Mitrade EU Ltd, the firm’s entity regulated by Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). At go-live, deposits and withdrawals will clear over SEPA Instant and route through a dedicated Volt Account that is part of Volt’s treasury services.

Under the planned flow, clients selecting Instant Bank Transfer at checkout will choose their bank and confirm the payment in their own banking app. Funds will settle in seconds over SEPA Instant and be automatically matched to the correct trading account. Withdrawals will use Volt’s closed-loop payout feature, which returns funds only to accounts that previously funded the platform and matches payouts to verified deposit history.

The dedicated Volt Account will provide Mitrade with a single reconciled view of client funds as they move on and off the platform, supporting the reconciliation and transparency requirements of a regulated broker. No launch date was disclosed.

Volt is a rail-agnostic money-movement platform that supplies payments infrastructure and treasury controls for firms operating across multiple payment rails. The integration will replace traditional bank transfers that require manual matching with account-to-account real-time rails for funding and payouts.

Steffen Vollert, co-founder and CEO at Volt, commented: ‘A CFD platform lives and dies by how fast money moves and how cleanly it reconciles. With SEPA Instant, Mitrade’s clients fund in seconds and every payment reconciles to the right account automatically. Payouts run closed-loop, back to the account the money came from, which is the correct default for a regulated broker.’

Timur Konsky, chief operating officer of Mitrade EU, noted that the firm will use open-banking-era payments to reduce friction between traders and markets while keeping client protections required by its regulated markets.

SEPA Instant is the European clearing option that enables euro transfers to settle within seconds between participating banks. Closed-loop payouts return funds only to accounts that previously funded a platform, creating an auditable trail of deposits and withdrawals that regulators typically require for financial services firms.
