Millennium London average pay falls as support staff rises

Average pay per employee at Millennium’s London operations fell to £671,000 in 2025 from £717,000 in 2024 after 31 investment roles were cut and 52 support staff were added.

The accounts for Millennium Capital Partners LLP and Millennium Capital Management Ltd show average pay per employee at the firm’s London operations fell to £671,000 for the year ended 2025, down from £717,000 in 2024.

During 2025 Millennium reduced its investment headcount by 31 and added 52 support and other non-investment roles, shifting the composition of its London workforce toward lower-paid functions.

Average remuneration in London has declined over several years: about £776,000 in 2023 and roughly £1.1m in 2022, a fall of close to 40% over four years.

Investment professionals accounted for roughly 47% of the London workforce in 2025, compared with about 55% four years earlier.

Partner payouts increased. Total member remuneration averaged £8.1m per partner in 2025, up from £4.9m in 2024. The accounts list 33 partners for Millennium Capital Partners LLP during the period, two of which were corporate entities, so the reported average does not necessarily equal amounts received by individual partners.

The accounts show a sharp rise in operating profit for 2025 alongside overall staff growth. The documents attribute the fall in average pay per employee primarily to the change in the mix of roles in the London business.
