Midstream operators raise Q3 2026 distributions

Enterprise Products Partners and Energy Transfer led Q3 2026 distribution increases; Sunoco, Hess Midstream, Genesis Energy, Delek Logistics and Global Partners also raised payouts.

Major U.S. midstream operators increased quarterly distributions ahead of the third quarter of 2026 in filings and press releases. The companies include Enterprise Products Partners, Energy Transfer, Sunoco LP, Hess Midstream, Genesis Energy, Delek Logistics Partners and Global Partners.

Enterprise Products Partners raised its quarterly distribution to $0.56 per unit from $0.55, a 1.8% increase. Energy Transfer increased its payout to $0.34 from $0.3375, about 0.7%. Sunoco LP raised its distribution to $1.0023 from $0.9899, roughly 1.3%. Hess Midstream’s distribution was set at $0.7888 per unit. Delek Logistics Partners recorded a 0.4% uptick. Genesis Energy raised its quarterly distribution to $0.20 from $0.18, an 11.1% increase. Global Partners increased its payout from $0.765 to $0.78 per unit, a 2.0% rise.

The Alerian MLP ETF (AMLP) holds Enterprise Products, Energy Transfer, Genesis Energy, Sunoco, Hess Midstream, Delek Logistics and Global Partners. The Alerian Energy Infrastructure ETF (ENFR) holds Enterprise Products, Energy Transfer, Genesis Energy, Hess Midstream and Delek Logistics Partners. The indexes that underpin those ETFs-the Alerian MLP Infrastructure Index and the Alerian Midstream Energy Select Index-had yields of about 6.6% and 4.5%, respectively, as of July 30, 2026. No regular dividend in a holding of either ETF has been cut since July 2021. VettaFi supplies the indexes and receives licensing fees.

Midstream companies typically generate fee-based cash flow from pipelines, storage and processing assets and distribute a portion of that cash to unitholders. Companies cited balance sheet strength and their distribution policies in disclosures tied to the Q3 2026 payouts.
