LTP wins Hedgeweek Global Prime Broker of the Year 2026

LTP was named Prime Broker of the Year: Global at the Hedgeweek Global Digital Assets Awards 2026 for institutional-grade access to digital asset markets.

LTP was awarded Prime Broker of the Year: Global at the Hedgeweek Global Digital Assets Awards 2026. The award recognised the firm’s prime brokerage, financing and asset management services that provide institutions with regulated, single-relationship access to multiple liquidity venues.

The firm offers access to 19 centralized exchanges and four decentralized exchanges through one relationship, and it provides regulated over-the-counter block trading and on/off-ramp services. LTP operates trading, clearing, settlement, custody and financing functions aligned with institutional standards.

A core product, MarginX, is a margin system that supports cross-exchange and cross-product margin netting. That netting lets institutions offset exposures across venues and reduce collateral needs. MarginX is designed for continuous margin management so risks can be covered and trading can take place outside traditional market hours.

LTP has developed financing and treasury tools, including a platform called RapidX, intended to improve funding efficiency across its network and to lower borrowing costs for clients through more competitive financing terms.

The company is working with industry partners on tokenization and market infrastructure projects, including initiatives involving the Canton ecosystem, to support tokenized securities and related services. LTP has cited rising activity by traditional financial institutions in crypto markets and tokenized assets as factors in its product development.

LTP operates under multiple regional licences and registrations. Its entities hold licences or registrations with the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission for Type 1, 2, 4, 5 and 9 activities; the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission; the Bank of Spain for virtual asset registration; AUSTRAC in Australia for exchange and remittance activities; and a Virtual Asset Service Provider licence from Dubai’s VARA. The company obtained an Australian Financial Services Licence from ASIC and holds additional permissions for investment management and trust services.

Jack Yang, LTP’s chief executive, described the award as reflecting client trust and the team’s work to build infrastructure for future finance and added: ‘We remain focused on providing the technology, financing, and market access solutions that institutions need to participate with confidence.’

The Hedgeweek Global Digital Assets Awards recognise firms that develop infrastructure to support institutional participation in digital markets.
