Lo:Tech Raises $12 Million to Expand in U.S. and Asia
London-based Lo:Tech has raised $12 million in a Series A led by MMC to expand into the U.S. and Asia-Pacific and grow its execution services for institutional clients.
London-based capital markets firm Lo:Tech has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by MMC. Existing investors Faction and 13 Books Capital participated, alongside Atka.
Lo:Tech plans to use the funding to establish operations in New York and Singapore, enter additional markets and expand its execution services for institutional clients.
The company provides trading infrastructure for traditional financial markets, digital assets and prediction markets. Its systems operate across venues and asset classes around the clock, including on public blockchains.
Lo:Tech is launching its new execution services on Nov. 2. The services use access to multiple venues to help institutional clients trade across traditional, digital and prediction markets. The company currently serves more than 50 institutional clients through designated market making, market data and execution services.
Lo:Tech reports that its revenue has tripled since its previous funding round in August 2025. The company plans to seek regulatory approvals in the markets it enters and is exploring licenses in the United States.
The firm cited data showing that tokenized real-world assets on public blockchains nearly doubled over the past year, from about $20.6 billion to $38 billion.
“Capital markets were built for a world that opened at 8 a.m. and closed at 4:30 p.m. That’s not how risk is traded any more,” Tim Meggs, Lo:Tech’s chief executive, said in a statement. “The best trading firms in the world are technologically advanced, but they grew up on top of traditional market infrastructure. We built ours from scratch for markets that run 24/7, on-chain and across every asset class.”
