June 2026 ETF roundup: New listings on Canadian exchanges

Multiple new ETFs listed in Canada in June 2026, led by Purpose’s SpaceX fund and Hamilton’s Enhanced Bitcoin DayMAX ETF.

Multiple new exchange-traded funds began trading on Canadian exchanges in June 2026. Notable launches included Purpose SpaceX Yield Shares ETF and Hamilton Enhanced Bitcoin DayMAX ETF, alongside a wide slate of thematic, income, leveraged, fixed-income and multi-asset products.

Issuers that listed new ETFs in June included Purpose, Hamilton, RBC, BMO, AGF, Desjardins, Mulvihill, SavvyLong, Guardian, Ninepoint, Harvest, NBI and Vanguard. Several company- and theme-specific ETFs targeted exposure to SpaceX and other technology names. Purpose, Harvest and Ninepoint each introduced SpaceX-focused funds. SavvyLong launched 2x leveraged single-stock ETFs for SpaceX (ORBU), AMD (AMDU) and Micron (MUU).

Hamilton launched the Enhanced Bitcoin DayMAX ETF to provide bitcoin exposure through an ETF structure. Other new funds sought enhanced income or used quantitative approaches to target dividend and value outcomes.

RBC introduced three enhanced quantitative equity funds: RBC Enhanced Quant Canadian Dividend Leaders Fund (RCDL), RBC Enhanced North American Value Fund (RNVL) and RBC Enhanced Quant U.S. Dividend Leaders Fund (RUDL). Vanguard listed a Developed ex-North America Dividend Appreciation Index ETF (VIGG) and a CAD-hedged U.S. High Dividend Yield Index ETF (VUDH). AGF added an enhanced U.S. income product (AENP).

Desjardins listed an Active Canadian Bond Universe ETF (DACU) and a Global Government Bond Index ETF (DGGB), plus equity and opportunities funds including Desjardins Canadian Equity Leaders ETF (DACL) and Desjardins Global Opportunities ETF (DAGL). BMO launched a Market+ International Equity Fund. Guardian introduced the i3 Canadian Dividend Growth Fund (GICD) and i3 Global Dividend Growth Fund (GIGD).

Mulvihill added a Split Capital Share ETF (ASHR), a Split Preferred Share ETF (PFRD) and a Canadian Bank ETF (MBNK). NBI brought five portfolio ETFs spanning risk profiles and strategies: Balanced (NBLD), Conservative (NCNS), Equity (NEQT), Growth (NGRW) and Thematic Rotation (NTHM). Purpose also listed a Global Resource Fund (PGRX). Harvest listed a SpaceX Enhanced High Income Shares ETF (SPXE); Ninepoint listed SpaceX HighShares ETF (SXHI).

The new listings include leveraged products aimed at amplified short-term exposure, enhanced and quantitative funds targeting dividend or income outcomes, sector- and company-specific strategies focused on space and technology firms, and bond and multi-asset ETFs for income and diversification.
