July CE quiz opens for financial advisors

The magazine’s July continuing-education quiz is now open. Advisors who answer at least eight of 10 questions correctly may earn one hour of CE credit for certain credentials.

The magazine’s July self-guided continuing-education quiz went live online July 24, 2026, and is available to subscribers. Advisors who correctly answer at least eight of 10 questions may be eligible for one hour of continuing-education credit toward specified professional designations.

The July quiz is based on six recent articles that cover federal student loan repayment rules and repayment plans; state-mandated retirement programs affecting small business owners; a new tax credit that creates planning options for advisors and charitable clients; tax planning for collegiate athletes earning name, image and likeness income; planning for fertility treatment costs; and a report that the U.S. created about 1,200 millionaires per day in 2025.

The assessment is presented in a self-study format. Participants complete the quiz online and may consult the linked articles while answering questions. Credit is available only if the listed certification bodies accept the quiz and the participant meets the scoring threshold.

The Investments & Wealth Institute accepts one hour of credit toward renewal of its certified investment management analyst (CIMA), retirement wealth advisor (RWA) and certified private wealth advisor (CPWA) designations. The CFP Board accepts the hour toward renewing the certified financial planner mark. The publisher issues an original CE quiz each month; subscribers can earn up to 12 hours of credit annually by completing monthly quizzes and may access past quizzes in the CE archive.
