JP Morgan Tops June Active ETF Inflows; DRAM Leads

JP Morgan had two of the five active ETFs with the largest inflows in June, while Roundhill’s DRAM ETF added about $7.8 billion in the final four weeks.

Industry flow data show active ETFs attracted large inflows in June. Roundhill’s DRAM ETF drew about $7.8 billion in the final four weeks of the month. Two JP Morgan funds were among the five active ETFs with the largest inflows.

DRAM began trading in April and charges a 65-basis-point fee. The fund actively invests in global memory-technology companies, using a mix of stocks and derivatives to target firms involved in NAND flash, solid-state drives and other memory hardware. DRAM returned about 133% over the past three months.

The Principal Capital Appreciation Select ETF (LCAP) attracted about $1.4 billion in June. LCAP charges 29 basis points and selects U.S. equities across market caps with a structural bias toward large-cap names. The fund returned roughly 14.3% over the prior three months.

JP Morgan’s Ultra-Short Income ETF (JPST) took in about $1.1 billion for June. JPST charges 18 basis points and invests in short-term, investment-grade debt. JP Morgan reported a 30-day SEC yield of 4.09% for JPST as of June 30.

The iShares Equity Factor Rotation Active ETF (DYNF) added about $950 million. DYNF charges 26 basis points and rotates across factors such as quality and value among U.S. large- and mid-cap stocks. The fund returned about 15.5% over the past three months.

The JPMorgan Core Plus Bond ETF (JCPB) drew just under $900 million. JCPB charges 38 basis points and actively allocates across U.S. and non-U.S. debt securities.

The rankings are based on monthly flows and reflect the most recent four-week period ending in June. Fund fees, investment objectives, yields and recent returns are taken from fund disclosures and issuer data.
