Jain Global UK profit doubles as London headcount nears 90
Jain Global’s UK arm reported a £9.2m profit for 2025 and raised its London staff to 89, up from about 30 in the prior reporting period.
Jain Global’s UK partnership reported a profit of £9.2m for the year to 2025 and increased its London headcount to 89 from about 30 in the prior reporting period.
The earlier accounting period ran for 16 months from the partnership’s formation in September 2023 to December 2024, so the two profit figures are not directly comparable on an annual basis. The UK accounts show about £7.5m of the 2025 profit was allocated to Jain Global (UK) Ltd, with individual partners receiving roughly £2.4m in total.
Average compensation per employee fell to about £611,000 in 2025, down from roughly £900,000 on an annualised basis in the previous 16-month period. The accounts state the firm seeks to maintain flexibility in its cost base.
The partnership recorded five partners during the reporting period. Paul Jefferys resigned in September 2025. Remaining named partners are Ashwin Kumar, James O’Callaghan and Surendran Pathmanathan, with Jain Global UK Limited listed as the fifth partner and owner of the LLP.
Jain Global was launched by Bobby Jain in 2024 after he left Millennium Management. The business began as an independent multi-strategy hedge fund and expanded its London operations in 2025, adding portfolio managers and other investment professionals to its team.
The firm did not respond to a request for comment on the UK accounts.
