Jain Global’s flagship multistrategy fund returned 3.2% in June, raising year-to-date returns to 3.9% during the firm’s second year of trading.
The June gain reflected positive results across the fund’s investment sleeves, including equities, macro, commodities, credit and quantitative strategies. Market conditions improved in the second quarter after a period of elevated volatility earlier in the year.
Bobby Jain launched the firm in 2024 after serving as co-chief investment officer at Millennium Management. The launch ranked among the largest hedge fund start-ups in recent years and attracted industry attention as the firm scaled operations.
Jain Global’s monthly performance aligned with several large multistrategy peers. Firms such as Millennium Management, Citadel and Schonfeld also posted gains in June as global equity markets rallied during the quarter.
The firm’s platform allocates capital across distinct teams and strategies, enabling shifts in exposure between asset classes. Managers reported contributions were widespread rather than concentrated in a single area.
Since the 2024 launch, Jain Global has expanded investment teams and risk infrastructure while scaling operations into a full year of trading. The 3.9% year-to-date return came after earlier swings in volatility this year.
