Investor Pointe launches AI platform to unify private markets

Investor Pointe launched an AI-enabled platform and services to integrate fundraising, investor servicing and reporting across private markets and named Scott Hofmann as CEO.

Investor Pointe launched this week an AI-enabled platform and services business to unify private markets operations and named Scott Hofmann as chief executive officer.

The company said the offering provides a single operating architecture that combines an AI-driven platform, specialist services and operational teams to support the investor lifecycle from fund design to reporting.

Functions include fund design and management, digital fundraising and investor onboarding with integrated KYC/AML, distribution tools for matching and engagement, branded investor servicing and consolidated reporting. The platform includes portfolio performance tracking, analytics and a unified data layer that prepares structured and unstructured information for modelling and reporting.

Clients can run the technology themselves, have Investor Pointe fully manage operations, or use a hybrid arrangement.

Investor Pointe was formed by combining operational teams from Bite Investments and Untap and said its leadership has experience building platforms across lifecycle stages.

Hofmann commented: “Investor Pointe was created to replace the fragmented operating model that most private markets firms still depend on. Technology on its own is no longer sufficient.” He added: “Most firms today are running fund administration, investor portals, distribution and reporting on four different systems and three different vendors. We’ve built one.”

Investor Pointe described its AI components as models for investor and fund-level analytics, a reporting engine and data optimisation tools that merge disparate data sources into a single, model-ready foundation.

The company said these capabilities aim to improve matching and distribution, speed onboarding and KYC processes, and produce consistent reporting across assets, funds and investors.

The launch comes as investors and managers seek more transparency and near real-time reporting, and as private markets face rising regulatory and reporting requirements.

Investor Pointe plans to announce additional leadership hires, product milestones and partnerships in the coming months.
