Interpolitan Money opens early access to treasury product

Interpolitan Money launched early access to a fixed-income treasury product today, offering users on its platform the ability to invest in government-issued securities with a set income profile. The rollout begins for eligible accounts via the company’s app and website, with broader availability planned after the initial phase.

The product channels customer funds into selected treasury issues that pay fixed interest and return principal at maturity when held to term. Interpolitan Money describes the offering as focused on principal preservation and regular interest payments. Users who join early access can review product terms, holding periods and any applicable fees in the platform before confirming an investment.

Investments are allocated into specific government securities chosen by the company. Interest is credited on scheduled dates and trades and settlement follow standard market practices for treasury instruments. Liquidity for each position depends on the underlying treasury’s market conditions and the product’s stated holding period. Fee schedules and tax implications are disclosed in the product terms available at signup.

Interpolitan Money framed the launch as a response to customer demand for straightforward cash-management options and a way to expand beyond its existing savings and brokerage features. The early access phase will let the firm monitor user uptake and operational performance before extending the product to all customers.

Regulatory and risk information accompanies the offering. The company noted that government treasuries typically carry lower credit risk than corporate bonds but remain subject to interest-rate risk, which can affect market values if positions are sold before maturity. Interpolitan Money said it will operate the product within the regulatory frameworks that govern custody and distribution of government securities and will provide standard reporting for tax purposes.

Treasury products provide a fixed stream of income and repayment of principal at maturity when held to term. Yields vary by country, maturity and prevailing interest rates. Financial platforms have increasingly packaged direct access to government securities into digital products that allow smaller retail-sized investments and automated handling of interest payments.
