Hedgeweek US Awards 2026 announces New York winners

The Hedgeweek US Awards 2026 recognized hedge fund managers and service providers at an Oct. 8 ceremony at Convene 237 in New York.

The Hedgeweek US Awards 2026 recognized hedge fund managers for performance and service providers for work in areas including technology, administration, legal services, trading and compliance. The ceremony took place Oct. 8 at Convene 237 in New York.

Voting was conducted through an online poll open to the full user base, with participants choosing from shortlisted firms in each category. Pre-selection data for the performance awards came from multiple sources and used annualized returns over a 12-month period. Categories covered funds of different sizes and strategies.

Two Seas Capital won Emerging Percentage Growth of the Year Under $1 Billion and Performance of the Year: Event-Driven Fund Over $1 Billion for the Two Seas Global Fund. Magnetar won Management Company of the Year Over $1 Billion and Performance of the Year: Structured Credit Hedge Fund Over $1 Billion for the Magnetar Structured Credit Fund, also known as the Magnetar Constellation Onshore Fund.

Other performance winners included Anson Funds for equity long/short funds over $1 billion; Graham Capital Management for managed futures funds over $1 billion; Saba Capital Management for relative value funds over $1 billion; and Ellington Management Group for both credit long/short and relative value funds under $1 billion. Versor Investments won Alternative Data Use of the Year, Performance of the Year: Quantitative Strategy Under $1 Billion and Technology Innovation of the Year.

Chamaeleo Capital Management won the commodities fund category under $1 billion, while Sona Asset Management won credit long/short over $1 billion. Annapurna Funds won discretionary macro under $1 billion, Geosphere Capital Management won equity long-biased under $1 billion, and Wexford Capital won equity long/short under $1 billion. Other performance awards went to HITE Hedge Asset Management, Maxam Capital Management, FutureSelect Portfolio Management, Incline Investment Management, QTS Capital Management, Mill Hill Capital and The Ambrus Group.

Significance Capital was named Management Company of the Year Under $1 Billion, and Overbrook Management Corporation won Rising Star Manager of the Year. Graham Capital Management won Marketing & Communications of the Year, while Magnetar also won the structured credit category over $1 billion.

BNY won Custodian Service of the Year and Prime Broker of the Year: Overall. SS&C GlobeOp won Collateral Management Solution of the Year and Fund Administrator of the Year: Overall. CBIZ won Audit Firm of the Year: Overall, and McDermott Will & Schulte won Law Firm of the Year: Overall.

Arcesium won Technology Provider of the Year: Overall. Comply won the artificial intelligence category, Omega Systems won Client Services, FIA Tech won Innovation and Objecutive–FundStudio won Start-ups. StoneX won Forex Solution Provider of the Year and Outsourced Trading Provider of the Year.

Other service-provider winners included S&P Global Market Intelligence for data, MSCI for indexes, LSEG AlphaDesk for portfolio management services, Baker Tilly x Anchin for tax advisory, and Withum for accounting. The program also recognized firms in cybersecurity, regulatory reporting, risk management, fund administration, securities lending, investor communications and trading technology.
