Hedgeweek Summit 2026: investment and operational alpha

The Hedgeweek European Summit 2026 met in London on June 9, uniting hedge fund managers, allocators and industry leaders to discuss investment and operational alpha, infrastructure and digital assets.

The Hedgeweek European Summit 2026 convened at etc.venues County Hall in London on June 9. The one-day forum brought together hedge fund managers, institutional allocators and service providers to examine how funds find, generate and communicate alpha in 2026.

The programme ran two parallel streams: Investment Alpha and Operational Alpha. Sessions in the Investment Alpha stream covered front-office approaches to sourcing returns and demonstrating performance to investors. The Operational Alpha stream examined how technology, processes and infrastructure quality affect fundraising and ongoing manager performance.

Panel discussions and presentations addressed capital-raising dynamics, the role of trading and research in delivering returns, and the impact of middle- and back-office systems on investor decisions. The agenda also included sessions on digital asset innovation and its implications for alternative strategies.

Speakers included senior figures from hedge funds, institutional allocators and service providers. Delegates exchanged perspectives on product development, operational resilience and the adoption of new investment instruments.

The programme highlighted examples of how managers present track records and risk management to attract capital, and how operating models can support sustained growth.

The Hedgeweek European Summit is part of Hedgeweek’s events calendar that connects industry participants on market practice and trends. Attendees and others can follow event updates and information on future dates via Hedgeweek social media channels.
