Hedgeweek Announces Winners of 2026 Digital Assets Awards

Hedgeweek announced winners of its Digital Assets Awards 2026 at etc.venues, County Hall, London on 9 June after an online vote of its userbase and pre-shortlisting by data providers.

Hedgeweek named the winners of its Digital Assets Awards 2026 at an industry ceremony at etc.venues, County Hall, London on 9 June. The awards recognise fund performance and service provider work across digital-asset strategies and infrastructure.

Winners were chosen from pre-shortlisted firms and confirmed by an online poll of Hedgeweek users. Pre-selection used annualised returns over a 12-month period provided by multiple data sources. An exclusive ceremony and networking event brought together fund managers, prime brokers, custodians and technology vendors.

Among fund managers, Atomic Digital won Alternative Coin Strategy Fund of the Year (over $10 million) for Annual Excellence. UTXO Management took Bitcoin Strategy Fund of the Year (over $50 million) for Annual Excellence, while Abraxas Capital Management received Sustained Excellence in the same Bitcoin category. Re7 Capital won Discretionary Fund of the Year: Annual Excellence and Firinne Capital won the Discretionary Sustained Excellence award. The Amitis Group was named Fund of Funds: Annual Excellence and Q21 Capital won Fund of Funds: Sustained Excellence.

Hyperion Decimus and Hashdex Asset Management were recognised in index strategy categories, with Hyperion Decimus also cited in several systematic categories. Presto Digital and Green Key Partners won awards in systematic and quantitative fund categories. Coincident Capital won both Annual and Sustained Excellence in the Macro Fund of the Year categories. Finality Capital Partners, Blockforce Capital, Hashdex Asset Management, Holland Park Capital, p-hat fund, Azure Tide and Green Key Partners were among other managers recognised across long bias, long/short systematic, multi-strategy, relative value and market-neutral categories.

Service and infrastructure providers were honoured across technology, custody, compliance and research. Hedgineer Technologies won AI/Machine Learning Innovation of the Year. CoinRoutes was named Algorithmic Trading Solution Provider and was also acknowledged for risk management software. CoinDesk Data & Indices received awards as an alternative data and index provider. Withum won Audit Firm of the Year. Blockdaemon was named Blockchain Infrastructure Provider and the Cardano Foundation won Blockchain Technology of the Year.

Custody awards were divided by region and specialty, with Cactus Custody winning Custodian of the Year: APAC, Crypto Finance Group winning Custodian of the Year: Client Services, Komainu named Custodian of the Year: EMEA and BitGo taking Custodian of the Year: Global and Custodian of the Year: US. Align Managed Services won Cloud Services Provider of the Year and Turnkey Trading Partners won Compliance Advisory Firm of the Year.

Exchanges, trading and market infrastructure winners included LMAX as Exchange of the Year: Overall and TP ICAP as Exchange of the Year: Innovation. Talos won Execution Management System Provider of the Year and Fireblocks won Multi-Signature Wallet Provider of the Year. Glassnode took On-Chain Analytics Provider of the Year and Toobit won Digital Asset Derivatives Platform of the Year. Institutional DeFi Solution of the Year went to dYdX, Pyth Network was named Technology Provider of the Year: Overall, Zodia Custody won for infrastructure technology, Figment for staking services and First Digital for stablecoin infrastructure.

Hedgeweek said the awards combine community voting with quantitative performance data to identify category winners based on returns over the assessed 12-month period.
