HANetf’s active ETF assets reach $1.38bn
HANetf’s active ETF range reached $1.38bn AUM as European active ETF assets topped $132.06bn and HANetf expanded its platform to 29 active funds.
HANetf reported its active ETF range reached $1.38 billion in assets under management, up from roughly $100 million at the start of 2024. The firm added the rise coincides with European active ETF assets surpassing $132.06 billion.
The platform now hosts 29 active ETFs. HANetf attributed the increase to new partnerships and to onboarding established managers including Lloyd Capital, Middlefield, Jupiter and ODDO BHF. Lloyd Capital’s active equity range represents more than $755 million of HANetf’s assets.
ODDO BHF US Equity Active UCITS ETF (ticker: OBUS) reached $101.58 million in AUM within eight months of launch. The fund invests in large-cap US stocks using a proprietary, systematic rules-based model and applies active risk oversight and ESG integration consistent with Article 8 of the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation.
Other funds on the platform include Middlefield Canadian Enhanced Income UCITS ETF (MCTP), listed with CAD119.65 million, and YieldMax Big Tech Option Income UCITS ETF (YMAG), with about $67.81 million. HANetf also launched KRC Cat Bond UCITS ETF (CATB), which the firm describes as Europe’s first UCITS ETF providing access to the catastrophe bond market, and added Regan Total Return Income UCITS ETF (RMBS), Fundstrat Granny Shots US Large Cap UCITS ETF (GRNY) and Infrastructure Capital Preferred Income UCITS ETF (PFFI).
HANetf reported active ETF assets in Europe now exceed $132.06 billion, with quarterly growth above 26 percent. The firm recorded 93 active ETF launches in the region to date, bringing the total number of active products to 384. HANetf said active ETF assets in Europe rose 68 percent in 2024 and 87 percent in 2025.
The firm listed factors supporting the expansion: managers’ ability to seek alpha while offering intraday trading, lower fees compared with some traditional structures, and tax features not available to mutual funds and investment trusts.
Vincent Chung, CFA and Active ETF Specialist at HANetf, noted: “At the start of 2024 our active range stood at around $100 million; today it has grown to more than $1.3 billion, driven in part by the onboarding of Lloyd Capital’s range.” Hector McNeil, Co‑Founder and Co‑CEO of HANetf, commented: “European investors are increasingly adopting active ETFs and the market retains room for further growth.”
