Fundstrat brings ‘Granny Shots’ UCITS ETF to Europe

Fundstrat Capital launched the Fundstrat Granny Shots US Large Cap UCITS ETF (GRNY) on May 22, 2026, listing on the LSE, Borsa Italiana and Deutsche Börse Xetra.

Fundstrat Capital launched the Fundstrat Granny Shots US Large Cap UCITS ETF (ticker: GRNY) on May 22, 2026, listing it on the London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana and Deutsche Börse Xetra. The UCITS fund was created in partnership with HANetf and gives European investors access to the same actively managed thematic strategy used in Fundstrat’s US-listed Granny Shots ETF.

The fund follows the research-driven approach of Fundstrat’s NYSE Arca fund. It selects stocks tied to multiple investment themes identified through a mix of top-down and bottom-up analysis and applies a rules-based process the firm says is intended to encourage consistent results over time. The name “granny shot” refers to an unconventional basketball free throw and is used by Fundstrat to describe its research method.

Fundstrat manages more than USD 4.8 billion across the Granny Shots ETF suite as of May 18, 2026, including the US large-cap GRNY, the Fundstrat Granny Shots US Small- & Mid-Cap ETF (GRNJ) and the Fundstrat Granny Shots US Large Cap & Income ETF (GRNI). The US-listed GRNY has gathered more than USD 4.3 billion in assets since its November 2024 launch, the firm reported.

Tom Lee, Fundstrat’s chief investment officer and lead portfolio manager, highlighted: “Our flagship Granny Shots US Large Cap ETF offers investors the opportunity to own the companies most strongly linked with the seven key themes driving S&P 500 earnings and price appreciation. Since its launch in November 2024, investors have been attracted to this sensible and powerful approach, enabling GRNY to garner more than USD 4.3 billion in AUM (as of 18.05.2026).”

John Bai, co-founder and managing partner, added: “For more than a decade, Fundstrat has built global relationships with clients through our Fundstrat research. This is something our clients have asked us for, and we are happy to be partnering with HANetf to deliver the UCITS product to investors.”

The UCITS structure means the fund is governed by European regulations while the underlying portfolio continues to target large-cap US equities aligned with Fundstrat’s thematic framework.

Trading for the Fundstrat Granny Shots US Large Cap UCITS ETF began on May 22, 2026, on the London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana and Deutsche Börse Xetra. Fundstrat noted the launch expands the availability of the Granny Shots strategy to European wealth managers, allocators and individual investors.
