Financial Advisor Rianka Dorsainvil Joins BestFarewell Board

After recent family losses, YGC Wealth founder Rianka Dorsainvil joined BestFarewell as its first strategic advisor and board member to help organize estate documents.

Rianka Dorsainvil, founder of virtual advisory firm YGC Wealth, joined end-of-life planning technology company BestFarewell earlier this month as its first strategic advisor and board member after recent family deaths. BestFarewell provides a client portal called KinWell for storing estate and personal documents and an advisor hub named Mantle that aggregates client data. The company projects serving about 100,000 families this year and has opened a pre-seed fundraising round seeking $1 million.

KinWell lets users upload documents such as wills, powers of attorney, insurance policies and account numbers into a single secure location accessible to designated family members and advisors. Mantle connects wealth management firms to clients’ KinWell portals so advisors can view consolidated household details when they have client permission. Mantle was developed after Dorsainvil asked for an advisor-facing tool to see and manage client information in one place.

Dorsainvil described the period after losing close relatives as overwhelming, noting families must locate accounts, arrange funerals and handle legal and household matters while grieving. She said the platform reduces the administrative steps by keeping account numbers and documents in one place, though it requires time up front to upload files and enter account details.

BestFarewell CEO Jay Wilburn praised Dorsainvil’s practical perspective, adding, “She keeps us honest about the families we’re actually building for.”

Dorsainvil has written for industry publications, appeared on a Top 100 financial advisors list and served in volunteer leadership roles with professional planning groups. She plans to introduce Mantle and KinWell to advisory firms, employers and other service providers. Dorsainvil suggested employers could include the service in benefits packages alongside bereavement leave to help employees handle estate tasks after a death.
