Fidelity launches US Fundamental Large Cap Growth ETF
Fidelity International has launched the Fidelity US Fundamental Large Cap Growth UCITS ETF on its Irish UCITS platform, offering an actively managed US large-cap growth strategy.
Fidelity International has launched the Fidelity US Fundamental Large Cap Growth UCITS ETF on its Irish UCITS ETF platform, adding a US large-cap growth strategy to its Fundamental Equity ETF range.
The ETF is sub-advised by Fidelity Investments, the separate US-based firm. The strategy combines Fidelity Investments’ active management and bottom-up research with a systematic investment process across the US large-cap growth universe. It is designed to select high-conviction ideas from multiple portfolio managers and package them within a single ETF.
The launch follows two Fundamental Equity ETFs introduced in September 2025 — the Fidelity US Fundamental Large Cap Core UCITS ETF and the Fidelity US Fundamental Small‑Mid Cap UCITS ETF — products that have attracted client interest since their debut.
Fidelity highlighted growth in Europe’s active ETF market, reporting assets in European-domiciled active ETFs reached USD 142.6 billion at the end of August 2026, nearly quadruple the level at the end of 2023. At that time active strategies represented 3.6 percent of overall European ETF assets, compared with about 12.8 percent in the US.
The new fund is part of Fidelity International’s Irish UCITS ETF range. Fidelity noted it intends to expand its active ETF offerings to provide higher-conviction equity exposures in an exchange-traded format.
Neil Davies, Head of ETF Product & Capital Markets for Europe and Asia Pacific at Fidelity International, commented: “Active ETFs are one of the fastest growing areas of the European investment market.”
