ExodusPoint expands Anthropic’s Claude across Atlas platform

ExodusPoint will integrate Anthropic’s Claude models into its Atlas platform to support investment research, portfolio management and operations across its $15 billion hedge fund.

ExodusPoint Capital Management announced a partnership with Anthropic to broaden use of the Claude family of AI models by integrating them into Atlas, the firm’s proprietary artificial intelligence platform. The integration will support investment research, portfolio management and operational functions across the $15 billion multi‑strategy hedge fund.

Atlas is already widely used across the firm: more than 80% of ExodusPoint employees access the platform each week. ExodusPoint evaluated several AI models for applications including research, operations and software engineering and found Claude to be the strongest performer in its internal tests.

The firm has deployed Claude Code within its operations team and reported measurable efficiency gains, estimating the tool saves about four analyst hours per day on average. The planned wider rollout through Atlas aims to apply those efficiencies to investment analysis, portfolio construction and daily operational workflows.

Other large alternative managers have pursued similar collaborations with AI developers. Millennium Management has worked with Anthropic to develop an AI-powered risk analyst, and Man Group has collaborated with Anthropic on internal AI projects.

ExodusPoint was founded in 2017 and is led by Michael Gelband, who serves as chief executive and chief investment officer. The firm manages roughly $15 billion in assets. Previously reported figures show ExodusPoint’s strategies fell 0.9% in July, leaving the fund up 3.5% for the year through the end of that month.
