European ETFs: Equities Draw €7.02bn in Week 30
European-listed equity ETFs attracted €7.02bn in week 30 (July 20–24, 2026). Financials led sector inflows (€306.5m); Materials and Energy rose 5.24% and 4.35%.
Trackinsight data show European-listed equity ETFs attracted €7.02bn during week 30, covering July 20–24, 2026. Fixed income ETFs gathered €1.10bn, commodity ETPs added €210.5m, cryptocurrency ETPs €30.6m and multi-asset products €11.5m.
At the sector level, Financials led inflows with €306.5m. Communication Services added €151.3m, Energy €104.6m and Health Care €102.8m. Industrials drew €83.2m, Consumer Staples €51.7m and Consumer Discretionary €34.1m. Information Technology recorded the largest sector outflow at €172.7m and Materials fell €57.8m. Materials posted the strongest weekly performance, up 5.24%, followed by Energy at 4.35% and Industrials at 3.47%. Consumer Discretionary declined 4.33% and Communication Services fell 3.15%.
By geography, US-focused ETFs attracted the largest allocation at €2.19bn. Developed Markets drew €1.98bn and World ETFs added €1.72bn. Emerging Markets received €496.3m and Europe-focused funds €250.8m. India-focused products added €175.0m while North America allocations rose €194.3m. China-focused products recorded the largest regional outflow at €258.0m and Germany declined €121.8m. Norway led highlighted market returns with a 4.24% gain; Vietnam posted the weakest result with a 4.87% decline.
Thematic strategies saw selective flows. Net Zero 2050 attracted €47.0m, Robotics & Automation €39.6m and Cryptocurrency themes €30.7m. China Disruptive Technology had the largest thematic outflow at €63.1m and Global Defense declined €29.2m. Blockchain was the top-performing theme at 4.76%. Global Defense and Europe Defense rose about 4.1% each, while Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity and Solar Energy fell between roughly 3.6% and 4.0%.
Within fixed income, government investment grade ETFs led with €1.02bn of inflows. Aggregate investment grade products added €72.1m and government aggregate ETFs €30.2m. Corporate investment grade funds saw outflows of €102.7m and corporate high yield recorded a €284.8m outflow.
Commodity flows concentrated in precious metals. Gold ETPs drew €298.4m, multi-commodity products €76.3m and Silver added €10.0m. Metal ETPs overall recorded outflows of €88.0m, while crude oil and copper ETPs lost €64.6m and €18.8m respectively.
In cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin products led inflows with €33.1m. Ether gathered €7.1m and Lido DAO €2.8m. AAVE, Solana and Hyperliquid saw modest outflows.
Major ETF issuers by net inflows were led by iShares with €1.93bn, followed by Amundi (€1.33bn), Vanguard (€1.31bn), Xtrackers by DWS (€995.9m) and Invesco (€785.5m). State Street, HSBC, UBS, BNP Paribas Asset Management and Franklin Templeton also reported positive net inflows.
Top equity performers for the week included CoinShares Bitcoin Mining UCITS ETF (MINE) up 17.08%, Melanion Bitcoin Equities UCITS ETF (BTC) up 9.71% and Global X Blockchain UCITS ETF (BKCG) up 9.07%. The largest single ETP inflows included Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF (VWCE) with €718.7m and iShares Core MSCI World UCITS ETF (IWDA) with €350.0m.
