Europe ETFs Week 31: Equity Flows Hit €6.62bn
In week 31 (July 27–31, 2026) European-listed equity ETFs drew €6.62bn, fixed income €1.85bn and gold ETPs €418.7m, Trackinsight data shows.
Trackinsight data for the week of July 27–31, 2026 shows European-listed equity ETFs received €6.62 billion, the largest allocation across asset classes. Fixed income ETFs drew €1.85 billion and gold exchange-traded products added €418.7 million during the same five trading days.
Within equity sectors, Financials led inflows with €296.9 million. Information Technology attracted €199.5 million and Industrials took in €164.7 million. Health Care and Materials recorded inflows of €153.7 million and €141.0 million respectively. Communication Services posted the largest sector outflow at €32.8 million, followed by Consumer Staples (-€31.7 million) and Consumer Discretionary (-€26.3 million).
Sector performance for the week was mixed. Consumer Discretionary gained 4.94% and Financials rose 1.29%. Communication Services advanced 1.20%. Information Technology fell 2.49%, while Utilities recorded the steepest decline at 4.16%. Energy, Health Care, Real Estate and Materials each lost roughly 1% to 1.5%.
By region, Developed Markets ETFs attracted the largest geographic inflow at €1.85 billion, led by US-focused products with €1.68 billion. World-exposure funds added €1.46 billion and Europe-focused ETFs took in €544.6 million. Emerging Markets drew €425.7 million, Asia Pacific €233.3 million and Japan €166.1 million. Greater China was the only highlighted geographic outflow, down €109.4 million. Greece posted the strongest country return among highlighted markets at 3.32%, while Turkey was the weakest, down 4.83%.
Thematic flows were led by Net Zero 2050 strategies with €409.8 million of inflows. Alternative Energy added €73.3 million and Robotics & Automation €41.3 million. Cybersecurity recorded the largest thematic outflow at €151.1 million, with China Disruptive Technology and Green Projects down €87.7 million and €55.1 million respectively. Cloud Computing led thematic performance, up 7.22% for the week. China Digitalization rose 5.97% and Video Games & iGaming gained 5.14%. Asia Defense, Solar Energy and Tomorrow’s Treatments each fell more than 4%.
In fixed income, government investment-grade ETFs drew €819.7 million. Corporate investment-grade funds added €386.3 million and aggregate investment-grade ETFs took in €291.1 million. Corporate high yield saw €117.6 million of inflows, while government aggregate products posted outflows of €69.5 million.
In commodities, gold ETPs led with €418.7 million of inflows. Multi-commodity products gathered €147.9 million and silver added €13.4 million. Crude oil ETPs recorded the largest commodity outflow at €54.9 million. Cryptocurrency ETPs showed modest net outflows overall; Ondo products attracted €5.6 million and bitcoin ETPs added €2.4 million, while Solana, Hyperliquid and XRP experienced outflows of €3.9 million, €3.7 million and €1.2 million respectively.
Asset managers with the largest net inflows for the week included iShares (€2.75 billion), Amundi (€1.79 billion), Xtrackers by DWS (€1.61 billion), Vanguard (€1.08 billion) and Invesco (€648.9 million). Other firms with notable inflows were UBS, VanEck, Franklin Templeton, BNP Paribas Asset Management and J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Among individual ETFs, cloud-focused funds posted the strongest returns. The WisdomTree Cloud Computing UCITS ETF rose 7.74% and the Global X Cloud Computing UCITS ETF gained 7.45%. The Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF was the largest by net inflows at €659.4 million, followed by the iShares Core S&P 500 UCITS ETF (€278.3 million) and the Franklin FTSE Asia ex China ex Japan UCITS ETF (€221.4 million).
