Eqidfax launches two fraud intelligence products
Eqidfax launched two fraud intelligence products that combine identity, device and behavioral data to deliver real-time risk scores and a historical intelligence feed.
Eqidfax has launched two fraud intelligence products designed to help companies detect and block fraudulent activity by combining identity, device and behavioral data into real-time risk signals. The offerings target firms that process online transactions and are accessible via API and monitoring dashboards.
One product is a real-time scoring service that evaluates transactions and account events using device fingerprints, email and phone reputation and behavioral indicators. The scoring service returns a risk score within milliseconds to support automated declines or challenge flows.
The second product is a historical intelligence feed that aggregates reports of known fraudulent accounts and patterns. Customers can query the feed to enrich investigations, trace connections between events and populate lists of suspicious identifiers to tune rules and case files.
Technical inputs include device characteristics, email and phone metadata, transaction attributes and historical fraud reports. Integration options include direct API calls, batch uploads and a visual interface for reviewing flagged activity. Customers can adjust scoring thresholds and choose which signals to prioritize for use cases such as onboarding, checkout and account takeover prevention.
Eqidfax described the two products as complementary, with the scoring service used at the point of decision and the intelligence feed used to reduce manual investigation time and improve rule performance over time. The company will offer the products to existing clients first and said broader availability will be phased in over the coming weeks. No pricing details were provided. The firm plans to expand signal coverage and add additional sources to the intelligence feed in future updates.
Fraud prevention vendors have increasingly paired immediate risk scoring with data enrichment to address attack types from automated bots to coordinated account-takeover campaigns. Eqidfax said its offerings are designed to integrate into multi-vendor risk stacks, allowing customers to use Eqidfax signals alongside other fraud and identity tools.
