The European Payments Council will develop a framework for payment service providers, or PSPs, that use the EU Digital Identity Wallet. The framework will provide common guidance for integrating the wallet into payment services.

The EU Digital Identity Wallet is a digital application that allows people to store and share verified identification data and electronic documents. The European Payments Council’s work will focus on the wallet’s use in the payments sector.
