Eight US ETFs debut July 16–23, 2026
Eight U.S. ETFs began trading July 16–23, 2026, including Tema Healthcare AI (HLTH), Defiance AI Hyperscale Leaders (AIHY) and new funds from First Trust, ProShares, Alpha Architect, Hotchkis & Wiley and Harding Loevner.
Eight U.S. ETFs began trading on U.S. exchanges during the week of July 16–23, 2026. The launches included thematic healthcare and AI infrastructure funds, plus ETFs focused on precious metals miners, U.S. equities, an equal-weight leveraged Nasdaq product, value strategies and developed international markets.
Tema Investments launched the Tema Healthcare AI ETF (HLTH), described by the issuer as focusing on companies that apply artificial intelligence in medical research and healthcare services. Defiance listed the Defiance AI Hyperscale Leaders ETF (AIHY) on NYSE Arca, targeting companies involved in high-capacity AI infrastructure and hyperscale computing.
First Trust listed the Indxx Quality Precious Metals Miners ETF (PMTL) on NYSE Arca, tracking quality-oriented miners across the precious metals sector. Alpha Architect introduced the US Equity 4 ETF (AAUB), offering a quantitative U.S. equity strategy. ProShares launched ProShares Ultra QQQ Equal Weight (EQQQ), an equal-weight variant related to the ProShares Ultra QQQ concept. Hotchkis & Wiley listed the Opportunities Fund (HWU) and the International Value Fund (HWIV), both focused on value strategies for domestic and international equities. Harding Loevner added the International Developed Markets Select Equity ETF (LOEV) on NYSE Arca, targeting selected stocks in developed non-U.S. markets.
Three of the new ETFs-PMTL, LOEV and AIHY-were listed on NYSE Arca. The remaining funds appeared under their respective tickers on U.S. exchanges.
Issuers included established asset managers and smaller firms. The launches added products classified as thematic, factor and regional strategies during the July 16–23 window.
