DTCC names Samir Pandiri chief client officer
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation named Samir Pandiri chief client officer, responsible for global client relationships and engagement across its post-trade services.
Samir Pandiri has been named chief client officer at the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). He will oversee the firm’s global client relationships and engagement across its clearing, settlement and information services.
DTCC said the appointment is part of a leadership alignment intended to support clients that rely on its post-trade services. Pandiri will work with broker-dealers, banks, asset managers and other market participants that use DTCC’s infrastructure.
Headquartered in New York, DTCC operates clearing and settlement systems and provides transaction data and record-keeping services for U.S. and international markets. In his role, Pandiri will coordinate client outreach, service delivery and product adoption with existing business units and technology teams.
DTCC did not disclose Pandiri’s start date or reporting line. The firm issued a brief statement confirming the appointment and describing the role’s focus on client engagement and relationship management. No additional comments were provided.
DTCC was created to provide central clearing and settlement and related services for the securities industry. The chief client officer position is intended to manage external relationships and channel client feedback into operational and technology planning.
