Deutsche Börse lists LAIQON’s first AI-optimised ETF

Deutsche Börse listed LAIQON’s first actively managed UCITS ETF on August 12, 2026. The fund, developed with Amundi, uses an AI-optimised model to select large- and mid-cap stocks across 15 European countries.

Deutsche Börse made the LAIQON – European Equity AI Optimized Active UCITS ETF tradable on August 12, 2026, adding LAIQON as an ETF issuer on its market.

The ETF is an actively managed UCITS vehicle that invests in large- and mid-cap companies across 15 developed European countries. The product was developed in cooperation with asset manager Amundi.

Security selection is driven by LAIQON’s proprietary LAIC Advisor, a forecasting model optimised with artificial intelligence. The model generates probability-based return and risk indicators to build an initial universe and ranking of potential holdings.

LAIQON’s portfolio management team then conducts a qualitative review of the model output and applies active judgment to determine the final holdings and weightings.

As an actively managed UCITS ETF, the fund does not track a fixed benchmark and allows managers to deviate from indices based on the model’s forecasts and the team’s discretionary assessments.

LAIQON is based in Hamburg. The listing is the firm’s first fund to be listed and represents its formal entry into the European ETF market.

Amundi assisted in developing the strategy, while LAIQON’s internal process and the LAIC Advisor outputs frame portfolio decisions.

The fund’s UCITS structure means it operates under European collective investment rules that provide common investor protections and allow cross-border distribution within the region.

The listing adds a new issuer to Deutsche Börse’s ETF lineup and provides investors access to an actively managed equity product that integrates algorithmic forecasts with human portfolio review.
