Confluence launches AI automation across product suite
Confluence launched Confluence POINT, an AI automation layer that validates documents with audit trails and adds a conversational interface in Revolution and Excel.
Confluence Technologies announced Confluence POINT, an AI-enabled automation capability that will operate within and alongside its regulatory, analytics and investor communications products. Confluence said POINT is intended to reduce manual work around automated processes and speed validation of regulatory and financial reports.
POINT includes a validation module called POINT Validation that converts and checks documents in multiple formats, including unstructured files. The module runs an automated checklist, returns results in minutes rather than hours, and records an audit trail for every finding. Items flagged as errors are marked for follow up.
Within Revolution, Confluence’s multi-asset performance, attribution and risk product, POINT provides an AI conversational interface that accepts plain-English queries and can trigger processes. The same conversational tools are available inside Microsoft Excel, allowing users to access Revolution data in spreadsheets without exporting files or switching systems.
Confluence said POINT will handle tasks that typically occur before or after automated workflows and that the company plans to add more AI-enabled optimizations across other products over time.
Mark Evans, founder and chief executive officer of Confluence Technologies, commented: “Confluence POINT will expand the scope of our technology, optimize workflows and reduce manual effort. This is a long-term commitment and you will see our AI capability continue to grow across our entire product suite in the months ahead.”
