Clear Street expands electronic execution to Europe, Asia-Pacific
Clear Street launched electronic execution in Europe and Asia-Pacific, allowing clients to trade 27 new markets through one connection and view positions on a real-time ledger.
Clear Street has launched electronic execution in Europe and Asia-Pacific, enabling clients to trade across 27 additional markets through a single connectivity point. The rollout includes primary exchanges in 22 EMEA markets and multiple Asia-Pacific markets. Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand and Singapore are live now, with South Korea and Taiwan scheduled to follow in the coming months. European emerging markets are available at launch and out-of-hours German venues will be added later.
Clients can view positions and trades on the same real-time ledger the firm uses in the U.S. The platform supports nine headline execution strategies and integrates with major EMS and OMS providers. Users can select from more than 100 configurable execution parameters and request custom configurations that Clear Street says can be deployed within 24 hours.
The expansion adds access to dark venues, systematic internalizers, periodic auction books and ETF liquidity via request-for-quote workflows in Europe. The rollout also introduces a 24-hour smart order router that provides overnight access to U.S. equities between 8:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The router will route orders across Blue Ocean, Bruce, MOON and OTC Link N and pivot automatically to the best available price across those venues during extended hours.
According to Uri Cohen, the company’s chief executive and co-founder, “With today’s launch, our platform now spans three regions — giving investors institutional-grade execution, smart order routing and a single view of their positions wherever they trade, backed by 24-hour coverage that matches the hours our clients actually work.”
Clear Street has previously concentrated on U.S. markets and algorithmic execution infrastructure. The company presents itself as a cloud-native financial infrastructure provider that consolidates trading activity and positions on a single ledger.
