All six long-only strategies underperformed their benchmarks in October. The largest shortfall was 4.4 percentage points against the CSI A500 Index. CSI 2000-linked products remained 18.5 percentage points ahead of their benchmark for 2026.
Separate data from Shenzhen Golden Axe Fund Sales showed that 68 index-enhancement products linked to the CSI 1000 fell an average of 9.3% in the final week of October. All but one were down for the year, and the weakest-performing fund had fallen 26%.
