Caplin launches hosted white-label digital-asset platform

Caplin launched a hosted white-label digital-asset platform that combines FX and crypto in a single trading interface for OTC desks, brokers, traditional finance firms and market makers.

Caplin Systems has launched a hosted, end-to-end white-label digital asset platform for OTC desks, brokers, traditional finance firms and crypto market makers. The product, available immediately, brings foreign exchange and digital assets together in a single trading interface and runs on the Caplin Platform.

Caplin says the platform provides a native trading environment and reduces deployment time and operational burden compared with custom development or manual workflows. The company estimates development timelines can be cut by up to 80%, with some desks able to go live in as little as 12 weeks. The hosted service avoids volume-based fees and ongoing maintenance associated with custom infrastructure.

The offering targets three market segments. For OTC desks and brokerages it automates execution workflows to increase capacity without adding headcount. For traditional finance firms it provides trade-level audit trails and data lineage needed to enter digital asset markets. For crypto market makers it supplies a distribution layer to deploy branded portals and expand market access.

The platform supports hybrid execution that combines automated electronic trading with digitised handling of high-touch sales inquiries. It includes secure authentication, centralised entitlements and a design intended for zero-downtime operation to support 24/7 trading.

Caplin says the platform enables unified multi-asset workspaces so users can manage FX and digital assets in a single branded interface. The company describes the architecture as highly customisable and capable of open integration with liquidity providers, risk engines and custody partners to maintain vendor neutrality.

Steven Singh, Head of Product at Caplin, commented: “By extending our 26 years of institutional FX heritage into an end-to-end hosted solution, we give firms the complete infrastructure they need out of the box. Institutions no longer have to choose between multi-year internal software projects or rigid third-party platforms that lock them into specific liquidity pools.”

The hosted solution is positioned to reduce internal development needs by connecting to existing liquidity, risk and custody systems and by removing certain types of technical debt. Caplin says the product integrates its existing web trading technology with features for multi-asset trading and market distribution and is available immediately.
