BVNK Adds Stellar Network to Payments Platform

BVNK has added support for the Stellar public network, allowing business clients to send and receive payments over Stellar through its payments platform.

BVNK, a London-based fintech that provides payments infrastructure to institutional clients, has added support for the Stellar public network to its payments platform. The integration lets corporate customers route payments over Stellar alongside other rails and access Stellar-based token transfers through BVNK’s existing interfaces.

The company connected its platform to Stellar’s mainnet and enabled standard Stellar payment operations. Customers can move funds, receive payments and interact with assets issued on the Stellar ledger through BVNK’s custody and operational tools. Payments can be sent via Stellar without changing core accounts for firms already using BVNK for fiat transfers.

BVNK made the Stellar option available through its API and operational dashboards. The platform’s routing logic allows firms to compare cost and timing across supported rails and select the network that fits their speed, fee and liquidity needs. BVNK’s compliance and treasury procedures apply to payments routed over Stellar, including identity verification and anti-money-laundering controls at on- and off-ramps.

The Stellar integration supports token issuance workflows for assets native to Stellar, including issuance, distribution and redemption via BVNK custody services. Industry participants may use the network for cross-border payroll, supplier payments and tokenized asset flows that require predictable fees and quick settlement.

Stellar is an open-source blockchain launched in 2014 that uses the native token XLM. The network allows entities known as anchors to issue fiat-representing assets and stablecoins and uses a federated consensus protocol designed for fast settlement and low transaction fees.

BVNK said the integration expands the set of technical rails available to its clients while maintaining standard custody and compliance controls across the new network.
