Broadridge names Theo Golden head of tokenized products

Broadridge has named Theo Golden to lead development and commercial rollout of tokenized securities and digital-asset services for clients outside the United States.

Broadridge Financial Solutions has named Theo Golden head of international tokenized products. He will lead product strategy, development and commercial initiatives for tokenized securities and other digital-asset services for clients outside the United States.

In the role, Golden will coordinate with asset managers, custodians, broker-dealers and technology partners to bring tokenized issuance, custody and post-trade services to market. The appointment consolidates Broadridge’s international tokenization work under a single executive responsible for commercial deployment.

Tokenized products convert ownership rights in securities or other assets into digital tokens recorded on distributed ledgers. Tokenization can enable fractional ownership, automated settlement and faster transfers. Broadridge is building capabilities for issuance, recordkeeping, settlement and reporting for tokenized assets as regulatory frameworks and institutional demand evolve across jurisdictions.

Broadridge announced the appointment as part of a broader push to expand its digital-asset infrastructure. The role includes growing regional product suites, negotiating client integrations and aligning technical development with local regulatory expectations.

Markets outside the United States have different timelines and rulebooks for tokenization. The international remit will require coordinated product design and partnerships to support issuance, transfer agents and custodial services in those jurisdictions.

Broadridge provides investor communications, securities processing and technology solutions to banks, broker-dealers, asset managers and issuers. The company has invested in distributed-ledger prototypes and partnerships to test alternative settlement models, digital voting and custody arrangements. The new role is intended to help clients pilot or scale tokenized instruments outside the U.S.
