Broadridge appoints Ignacio Escobedo for Southern Europe accounts
Ignacio Escobedo joins Broadridge as Premier Account Leader for Southern Europe, moving from London Stock Exchange Group to expand enterprise client relationships and grow strategic accounts.
Broadridge Financial Solutions has appointed Ignacio Escobedo as Premier Account Leader for Southern Europe. The company announced the appointment on Monday. In the role, Escobedo will focus on strengthening enterprise-wide client relationships and accelerating growth across Broadridge’s strategic accounts in the region.
The position reports into Broadridge’s account and commercial management structure for EMEA and APAC and is intended to increase enterprise coverage of high-priority clients across multiple markets and business lines.
Mark Gidley, head of EMEA & APAC account and commercial management at Broadridge, commented that the Premier Account Leader role is central to the company’s client coverage, adding that Escobedo brings international experience, a growth mindset and a track record of building executive relationships.
Escobedo joins from the London Stock Exchange Group and has more than 27 years of international experience in financial services, data strategy and business development. His background includes leading global strategic accounts and driving business growth across markets and client divisions.
Escobedo commented that he was excited to join Broadridge and intends to work with clients and colleagues to strengthen strategic partnerships and support client priorities across Southern Europe and beyond.
Broadridge, listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker BR, described the hire as part of broader efforts to expand coverage of key accounts across Europe and Asia. The firm did not disclose further operational changes or the specific accounts Escobedo will manage.
