Boerse Stuttgart adds Societe Generale euro stablecoin
Boerse Stuttgart Digital integrated EUR CoinVertible, Societe Generale‑FORGE’s MiCAR‑compliant euro stablecoin, into its regulated trading and custody systems.
Boerse Stuttgart Digital has integrated EUR CoinVertible, the MiCAR‑compliant euro stablecoin issued by Societe Generale‑FORGE, into its regulated trading and custody infrastructure. It is the first euro stablecoin from a bank subsidiary to be onboarded to the platform.
Boerse Stuttgart Digital said the integration gives institutional clients access to a euro‑denominated settlement and payment instrument that meets European banking and regulatory standards.
The onboarding builds on a September 2025 test settlement that used EUR CoinVertible on Seturion, Boerse Stuttgart Group’s pan‑European settlement platform for tokenized securities. It follows a strategic partnership announced in May 2026 between Seturion, flatexDEGIRO, Societe Generale and SG‑FORGE to develop a European settlement network for tokenized assets.
Boerse Stuttgart Group described the integration as part of its expansion in the French market and across Europe. The group has worked with major French banking institutions for more than 20 years in areas such as structured products and exchange services; company executives said the stablecoin onboarding extends those relationships into digital assets.
Boerse Stuttgart Digital prioritized a euro‑denominated, MiCAR‑regulated asset rather than US‑dollar stablecoins issued by Web3‑native firms. The company said choosing a stablecoin issued by a bank subsidiary aligns with its approach to institutional adoption and regulatory compliance.
EUR CoinVertible will be available through Boerse Stuttgart Digital’s trading and custody solutions, providing clients with a euro settlement option that conforms with MiCAR rules and operates within European legal and operational frameworks.
Dr. Matthias Voelkel, CEO of Boerse Stuttgart Group, commented: “By partnering with Societe Generale‑FORGE, we are expanding Boerse Stuttgart Digital’s footprint in the digital assets space through the integration of their euro stablecoin into our ecosystem. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to building reliable, compliant and trusted crypto and digital asset infrastructure for the European financial market.”
Jean‑Marc Stenger, CEO of Societe Generale‑FORGE, stated: “Integrating EUR CoinVertible into Boerse Stuttgart Digital’s infrastructure supports the adoption of a trusted euro‑denominated digital asset backed by established institutions and strengthens the connection between crypto‑native participants and financial market infrastructures.”
The integration will allow regulated financial institutions using Boerse Stuttgart Digital’s services to transact and settle in a euro‑denominated token that falls under MiCAR regulation and is issued by a European bank subsidiary.
