BKGI seeks total return by combining income generation with potential capital appreciation from companies whose activities are tied to infrastructure worldwide.
The fund holds positions in traditional infrastructure sectors, including utilities, energy and industrials. It also includes companies in health care, real estate and communication services when those businesses have operations linked to infrastructure activity.
The portfolio team uses a mix of quantitative screens and fundamental analysis to select stocks. Selection criteria include firms in stable regulatory environments, companies with durable business models, consistent cash flows and established dividend records.
Fund inflows pushed BKGI past the $1 billion threshold in May. A separate BNY fund, the Dynamic Value ETF (BKDV), crossed $1 billion in assets in March 2026.
